Altea International School, a unique and successful British school in the Costa Blanca, Spain, is looking for a qualified and engaging teacher for KS3, KS4 and A-Levels Maths. AIS follows the British National Curriculum with Steiner Waldorf orientation and mindfulness.
KS3, KS4, GCSE and Sixth Form/A-Level Maths Subject Teacher
We are looking for an enthusiastic Maths Subject Teacher who resonates with the ethos of our school. This is a full-time position and involves responsibilities to a KS3/KS4 GCSE as well as Sixth Form/A-Level.
Essential requirements are:
Be a fully qualified teacher with experience of the British National Curriculum. (PGCE or QTS)
Have experience in teaching IGCSE (preferably Edexcel) as well as A-Level.
Have excellent communication skills and be able to deliver teaching in English confidently.
Have interest in the Steiner-Waldorf pedagogy and/or other holistic educational approaches.
Be a vital part of a growing teaching team and promote the school to parents and the wider community.
Have a working permit in the EU
Desired requirements are:
Have knowledge and experience of Steiner-Waldorf pedagogy.
Have interest in the incorporation of mindfulness in education.
Have the ability to communicate in Spanish.
