www.cambridgeinternational.org/recognitionsearch VALIDATION Students with A-Level qualifications are guaranteed admission to Spanish universities, under the same conditions as Spanish students applying from Spanish schools. The validation process for our students is carried out via UNED (Universidad de Educación a Distancia) and is known as Direct Access.
To be admitted in to a Spanish University to study for a Bachelor’s degree, students have the possibility to take exams in two or three subjects in the Pruebas de Competencia Específica (Spanish curriculum) for specific preparation. Pruebas de Competencia Específica (PCE) exams are taken at the UNED centre in Alicante University.

'Selectividad' subjects will be offered at AIS, if requested and depending on career choices and student interest.
With the mark of your A-Levels and the result of your PCE examination, you will get a combined mark that will show what type of university - public in general - you may access with this mark. This is known as "nota de corte" for Spanish Universities.
Please always check entry criteria with institutions before applying. Admission to International Universities: Admission to Spanish Universities: Admission to British Universities: In the UK, three A-level passes are normally required for admission to university, and in many cases, depending on the demand for the course to be studied and the university applied to, there can be a requirement for these grades to be B or above. The application process is via UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admission Service). Should the student wish to apply for university in the UK, the AIS team will help the students with their UCAS application process. Success in Cambridge qualifications opens doors to universities worldwide.
