AIS Summer School provides an engaging mix of fun, educational, and sporting activities within our well-equipped school facilities. Nestled in a stunning location surrounded by nature and overlooking the Mediterranean coast, between the cities of Alfas del Pi, Altea, and La Nucia, our campus offers a perfect environment for learning and recreational activities. All our classrooms are air-conditioned, our spacious outdoor areas provide ample shade, and our swimming pool offers a refreshing break each day.

Our program provides an immersive English learning experience with qualified teachers featuring engaging activities tailored to different age groups. From popular summer games and sports to arts, crafts, music, and drama, every activity is thoughtfully designed by our dedicated teaching staff and special guests to ensure an enriching and enjoyable experience for all.

Our Summer School day begins at 9.00 am with a morning circle time, where children engage in singing, rhythmic games, and fun language activities like riddles and tongue twisters, approaching English in a playful way.

Next, they dive into artistic activities such as painting, drawing, modelling, and crafts, all based on the week's theme. Afterwards, they get moving with sports, swimming or outdoor/water games to put into practice what they've learned through active play.
A break follows, with time for a snack brought from home before heading to the swimming pool. The day wraps up with more play before enjoying lunch at 1.30 pm in our dining area.

This schedule is flexible and will adapt to the group's needs, ensuring a fun and dynamic experience every day.
 Children from 4 to 12 An AIS Summer School Day Summer School begins at 9.00 am for our teenagers with a morning circle time. During this time, they engage in outdoor activities designed to offer a moment of connection and grounding at the start of the day. Through songs, movement, or reflective activities, this moment encourages emotional expression, strengthens group bonds, and sets a positive tone for the rest of the day.

Next, they dive into weekly projects, such as woodworking, designing and building objects, songwriting and more. These projects involve a blend of creativity, effective communication, and strong organisational skills in an inclusive, respectful environment where all participants feel valued and heard. Language learning is carefully tailored to provide an immersive experience in a safe and nurturing space for personal learning.

A break follows, with time for a snack brought from home before physical exercise with sports or outdoor/water games at the swimming pool. The day wraps up with more outdoor activities or project work, enjoying lunch at 1.30 pm in our dining area for those who have booked lunch with us.

This flexible schedule will adapt to the group's needs, ensuring a fun and dynamic daily experience. Teenagers 13+

FAQ The lunch service will be provided by The Lunch company, which provides vegetarian, ecological meals for AIS during the school year. This service will be available from 1.30 to 2.00 pm. Students who’ve reserved lunch will head to the cafeteria, while others will enjoy an activity with their teachers. If your child will be using the meal service, you must let us know about any food allergies or intolerances when filling out the consent form. If that’s the case, we’ll also need a medical certificate confirming the allergy or intolerance to fit your child's needs. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
 Pick-up and Drop-off points Lunch service To ensure a smooth arrival and departure, we have prepared individual pick-up and drop-off points for each age group.
Children should be at the entrance area by 9.00 am. The meeting points will be signalled with coloured flags so their teachers can meet them and lead them to the classroom. Please pick them up punctually at 2.00 pm by the assigned places for your child’s group Things to bring For the comfort of your children during the day, we ask you to kindly prepare the following items for your children to bring with them each day.

Water bottle
Snack ( the snack should follow the AIS food policy link to food policy here)
Sun cream
Sun hat/cap
Clean clothes in case they need to change
Swimming suit
Swimming cap (Attention: This is obligatory when using the pool!)
Water wings, life vest (if needed)
Towel
A pair of Flip-flops

We also recommend that they come dressed comfortably and with footwear suitable for outdoor sporting activities.
 Menu Sample Our bus service offers two routes to accommodate our students: one from the North, starting in Teulada/Benissa, and one from the South, starting in Alicante/Campello. These routes are operated on demand, so if you're interested in using the service, please let us know when you register. We'll do our best to meet your needs.
